Nuit Blanche
A stunning video by Spy Films that merges elegance and violence at incredibly high frame rates.

Amazing video for the song Bastard, by Metal on Metal. Directed by The Glue Society.
I can’t believe it’s taken this long for somebody to come up with this idea. Impressively stupid, random, and hilarious.
Love this animation of Der Mensch als Industriepalast (Man as Industrial Palace). Henning M. Lederer’s animation is based on Fritz Kahn’s 1926 poster. Learn more about the project at industriepalast.com.
There is plenty of super slow-mo photography out there, but nothing like this. Check out these bullet impacts at 1,000,000 FPS!
Very cool commercial for Central Center TV (CCTV). Totally loving the ink-in-water effects. Vimeo Link
My new favorite website! Here’s how it works: the site gives you a free 10 cents to bet with. As soon as you make $20 or more, you can cash out for real money. It’s that simple. Now, I’m not much a gambler, but CentSports has got me hooked. And the best part is you have nothing to lose because you’re never playing with your own money. It’s totally free! If you like sports at all, you should check it out.
Check out these very cool Dachshund-related logos by Draplin Design. Inspired by his long friend, Gary.
While it is hard to say this is the best MLB play this year (that one has to go to DeWayne Wise), it is easy to say this would have to make the top 5. Not only does Alexi Casilla make a great diving grab, but somehow still manages to throw the ball, with his glove, at full extension, and still get the guy out. Incredible!
I thoroughly enjoy a good snowboarding video, but when you replace the snow with fallen leaves in a beautiful autumn forest, I’m speechless. Check out Zimtstern’s latest commercial, Leaves.
If you enjoy the movie Groundhog Day, you should give this fascinating article a read. It is one man’s attempt to quantify the amount of time Bill Murray’s character was actually stuck reliving the same day. Even more fascinating is the discussion that follows in the comment section. Typically I avoid forum based conversation, but this is truly enthralling. The article puts the number at about 8.5 years, but I’d be willing to bet it was well over 10.
An awesome ad by Svetlin Velinov to promote the Singaporean national football team kit by Nike. I don’t think it is part of the same campaign as the one for the Beijing 2008 Olympics. Both are amazing, but I think I like the newer one the best. Enlarge Image

This video made me laugh. It’s a short clip about a narcoleptic dachshund named Rusty. YouTube Link
